Location: East London
Contract: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience and qualifications

The Role
We are seeking a passionate and caring Early Years Educator to join a welcoming and inclusive early years setting in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is committed to supporting young children during their crucial early development years and who values a child-centred, play-based approach to learning.
The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive team to provide high-quality early education, ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and supported to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Create a warm, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that supports all children, including those with additional needs.
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, contributing to learning journals and next-step planning.
- Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development through positive relationships and routines.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers, and external professionals where appropriate.
- Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable).
- Experience working within an early years or nursery setting.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to inclusion, equality, and safeguarding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
