Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Nursery based in Macclesfield who are seeking an EYFS Teacher. This is an OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding’ nursery, where staff strive to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment, providing children aged 3-5 with everything they need to thrive in their early stages of development.

This is a great opportunity for an ECT looking to start their teaching career with a supportive network and opportunity for continuous professional development.

About the role:

  • Start-date: 1st September
  • Ongoing/long-term with opportunity for a permanent contract
  • Competitive pay based off pay scales

As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for creating interactive and engaging lessons which follow the national curriculum whilst also encouraging and supporting social and emotional development. You will cover all subjects and be responsible for creating and adapting resources to suit all learning styles. Additionally, you will monitor student progress, provide reward and recognition as well as updating parents/carers. You will create a positive learning environment where everyone feels valued and comfortable to be themselves, allowing all students to flourish and reach their full potential.

What we’re looking for:

  • QTS in Primary or Early Years education
  • Experience working with EYFS/KS1
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and current teaching techniques
  • Ability to be able to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
  • Organisation and strong communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
