Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a private nursery based in Macclesfield who are looking for an EYFS Teacher to join their welcoming and inclusive team. This is a great opportunity for an ECT who is looking to start their teaching career.

About the role?

  • Start-date: 8th September
  • Full-time position
  • Ongoing/long-term with opportunity for permanent contract with the school

As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons/activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. You’ll create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that supports each child’s curiosity and development. The role also involves closely monitoring and assessing progress, maintaining accurate records, and building strong, supportive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues. You’ll play a key part in fostering a positive atmosphere where every child feels valued, confident, and ready to take their next steps in learning.

What we’re looking for:

  • QTS with a background in EYFS teaching
  • Experience working with EYFS (teacher training placements included)
  • Creative, inclusive and patient approach to teaching
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both students and colleagues
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
