Are you an Early Careers Teacher seeking a role from September 2024?
Or maybe you have availability from September to gain further experience through adhoc cover?
Teaching Personnel are working closely with secondary schools in Chichester, who are looking for ECT’s who have recently completed their PGCE. We work with a huge variety of schools from State, to Private and Independent, as well as schools with challenging behaviour, to schools with an Ofsted grading of ‘OUTSTANDING’. There are opportunities for Early Careers Teacher or Newly Qualified Teachers, to secure temporary or permanent roles, including ad – hoc supply which is a fantastic way to experience working in different schools before making a longer-term commitment. Registering with Teaching Personnel enables you to form a working relationship with your local consultant, who can support you through the early and exciting stages of your teaching career. You will also have the option to explore other sectors should you wish, including Primary and SEN, as well as Secondary.
Opportunities include but are not limited to:
- Adhoc, short-term daily supply – an opportunity to gain experience in multiple schools, before settling into your first ECT teaching role.
- Medium term supply – an opportunity to gain experience providing general cover, or to cover your subject specialism in the absence of a permanent teacher.
- Long Term supply - an opportunity to join a school from 1 to 2 terms, or the full academic year, covering or teaching your subject specialism. Full induction and training is provided for longer term positions.
- Temporary teaching work leading to permanent contracts! Some of our most successful teachers have initially taken on short term work within a school, and subsequently are offered permanent roles.
- Flexible work opportunities, based around your availability.
- The option work as a cover teacher, without the commitment to planning and marking.
- Full responsibility teaching positions available, to include planning and marking.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
