Bi-lingual Teaching Assistant - Fluent in Polish - Immediate Start
A Polish speaking teaching assistant is required to support a Year 3 boy during his lessons. The child has recently moved to the UK and is having some difficulty keeping up with others in his class. Behaviour is not an issue and he is eager to learn, however the language barrier is making this difficult.
The child is quite shy and will need someone who has a patient and understanding nature to work with him and gain his trust. Currently, he keeps to himself and doesn't interact much with the other children, however he does seem to be coming out of his shell and just needs some extra encouragement.
The school is based in Fallowfield (M14) and has been rated as 'Good' by Ofsted, a rating which it has maintained for a number of years. The children are well behaved and are encouraged to 'aim high' by the dedicated staff. The head teacher is very supportive and has an excellent relationship with pupils, staff, parents and also the surrounding community.
Please apply if you:
- Are fluent in Polish
- Have experience, paid or voluntary working with children
- Have a patient and understanding nature
- Are able to start immediately
The role is on a temporary basis, depending on the progress of the pupil. There are excellent transport links from Manchester City Centre.
In turn, Teaching Personnel can offer you;
- 20 years experience within Educational Recruitment working in partnership with a large number of Primary, Secondary and SEN Schools
- A dedicated, specialist consultant to support you and your needs
- Unrivalled CPD opportunities including Team Teach, NASEN and People Moving & Handling
- £50 reward every time you recommend a colleague/friend to work with us
Teaching Personnel are the market leaders in Education Recruitment across the country. If you meet the above criteria and are able to commit to this position, then please call me today to discuss further - Tajay Bryan on 0161 242 1796 or email your CV .
