EAL Teaching Assistant

EAL Teaching Assistant - Full time - February half term start!

Are you experienced supporting EAL students? Passionate about supporting students from all backgrounds? We are currently recruiting for an experienced EAL teaching assistant to work closely with a large 3 form entry school. 

The ideal candidate must:

-          Have experience in the delivery of learning to speakers of other languages

-          Understand the complexities that a child whose primary language is not English may face when tackling the learning process in a mainstream setting

-          Can work with SENCO to review and assess overall student attainment

-          Be able to work one to one or in small groups helping pupils perform to their best ability

-          A passion to help and support pupils in their educational development

A large three form entry school with a diverse range of staff and students from a number of backgrounds and cultures. Based in the heart of Ealing the school has taught their students to embrace their cultural difference. They have been able to support students through additional group sessions with specialist members of staff to help focus on their development and progress. 

The school is located in the middle of Ealing, a short walk from Ealing Broadway station - connected by multiple train and bus services.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
