EAL Learning Support Assistant required at Tooting School.

Immediate start -EAL Teaching Assistant - Tooting.

A full time EAL support assistant opportunity has become available in a large 2 form entry primary school in Wandsworth. The school is looking to recruit an EAL support assistant with extensive experience supporting pupils with barriers to learning due to language and/or communication needs. Whilst supporting EAL children on a 1:1 or small group basis, you would be expected to show a calm, caring and nurturing approach as building positive relationships is key to improving attainment and learning.

If you have experience of working with children with EAL / language barriers due to various reasons, you would be welcomed to apply for the role.

To be considered for this EAL support assistant role, you will need to have a teaching assistant qualification or a degree and significant experience working with children. This is a full time post starting straight away if possible and you will need to have suitable experience and references to be considered.
