Senior Design Technician – Immediate Start
Teaching Personnel is looking to appoint a Senior Design Technician to support a Design department with the preparation and management of materials for practical work in an NN3 based School. This role is perfect for an organised individual with strong DIY skills, and full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the setup and maintenance of equipment, including PCs, printers, laser cutters, and 3D printers
- Managing stock levels, reordering materials, and ensuring value for money
- Performing minor repairs and maintenance of tools and machinery
- Supporting Health & Safety compliance, conducting checks, and coordinating external servicing
- Handling general administrative tasks within the faculty
- Attending relevant training courses to maintain safe equipment use

- A team player with strong organisational skills
- Someone who can handle busy periods, such as exams, with efficiency
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
