As we continue to expand, we are searching for a talented and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join our team and inspire our students to create and innovate.

Position Overview: We are in need of a qualified and passionate Design & Technology Teacher to become a vital part of our school in Hastings, East Sussex. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Design & Technology, a dedication to delivering engaging and effective lessons, and a genuine passion for nurturing students' creativity and problem-solving abilities. You will play a pivotal role in empowering our students with practical skills and knowledge to thrive in the modern world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Cultivate a stimulating and hands-on learning environment to engage and inspire students.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Engage in school events, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher conferences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design & Technology or a related field. A teaching certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Design & Technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for innovation, creativity, and a commitment to instilling these qualities in students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
