Design & Technology – Product Design Teacher Cardiff

One of our partner schools in Cardiff has expressed their need for a Design and Technology Teacher to start on a full time basis from October half term.  This role in particular is for a Teacher of D&T that specialises in product design. The role is covering a Maternity and would be for the full academic year.

The right candidate needs to:

-Be a newly or fully qualified Teacher

-Have a proactive and engaging attitude

-Fully understand the curriculum and additional support that may be needed by some pupils

- Have strong classroom management skills

-Understand product design modules for A-level students

-Maintain all equipment and ensure pupils are adequately supervised while using specialist equipment.

The schools leadership team have specified the need for someone who is proactive and can manage challenging behaviour throughout the key stages.

As the role is looking to start after the half term break ideally the school are looking to shortlist from CV’s in the next week or so to hold interview/ trial days prior to appointing the successful teacher.
