Design Technology Teacher

Are you an experienced Design Technology Teacher who has a creative passion?

If so, Teaching Personnel are seeking a Design Technology Teacher to work in our client's secondary school in Tameside, South Manchester. Teaching students in KS3-KS4 the Design Technology curriculum, producing creative and inspiring lessons to engage every student. Teaching a range of students with different academic abilities, from the basics to supporting GCSE students with their final major projects.

  • Design Technology Teacher
  • Starting September 2019 in the new academic year
  • Located South Manchester in Tameside
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406) with weekly pay
  • Teaching KS3-KS4 students ages 11-16

Due to an open vacancy at our client's secondary school, the Headteacher is seeking an experienced Design Technology Teacher, to bring strength to their Design Department. Working in a strong forward thinking Design Department who always goes the extra mile to support every student with their work.

The successful Design Technology Teacher will;

  • Create fun and interactive lesson plans that engage every student
  • Have experience teaching Design Technology in secondary schools
  • Be a team player and work well in a cohesive Design Department
  • Be available to commit to a full time Design Technology role

Our clients school is located south Manchester in Tameside. Being close to central Manchester, there are excellent public transport links making it easy to access the secondary school. With a strong Design Department and high quality machinery with facilities for the students to produce the best possible work, this is a great opportunity for a creative, artistic and inventive Design Technology Teacher to flourish in their career.
