Primary Teachers and Cover Supervisors – Inspire Young Learners Across Norfolk

Are you passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and thrive? Whether you’re an experienced primary teacher or a confident cover supervisor, this is your chance to make a real difference in classrooms across Norfolk.

We’re partnering with welcoming, inclusive primary schools that champion creativity and recognise the powerful impact great teaching has on young minds. In this role, you’ll nurture curiosity, build confidence, and guide pupils through the vital early stages of their learning journey.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential. You’ll be travelling between school sites, supporting a variety of settings, and bringing consistency and energy wherever you go.

You’ll deliver or supervise engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the primary curriculum. You’ll support pupils of all abilities in reaching both academic and personal milestones. You’ll promote positive behaviour, encourage resilience, and help foster a genuine love of learning. Working closely with teaching assistants and wider school staff, you’ll create a classroom environment that is safe, supportive, and inspiring.

We’re looking for warm, professional, and adaptable individuals who thrive in different primary school settings. You’ll be confident managing routines, engaging young learners, and maintaining a calm, patient, and nurturing presence. A commitment to ongoing professional development is key, as is the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

In return, you’ll gain access to Teaching Personnel’s CPD Academy for accredited training and development. You’ll receive weekly pay with competitive rates based on your experience and role. Our easy-to-use online systems make communication and admin straightforward, and you’ll have the ongoing support of a dedicated consultant who understands primary education inside and out.

If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact in primary schools across Norfolk, apply today. Take the next step in your career and help young learners feel supported, inspired, and ready to succeed.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
