Position: Science Teacher

Location: Stockport, United Kingdom

Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per year

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Science Teacher to join our one of our client schools in Stockport.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum.

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and academic growth.

- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assessments, tests, and examinations.

- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their development and improvement.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching materials and resources.

- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.

- Stay up to date with the latest developments in science education and implement best practices in the classroom.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.

- A degree in a relevant scientific discipline.

- Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level.

- Strong subject knowledge across all areas of science.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.

- Effective classroom management skills.

- Commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
