Opportunity to work within the DT department of an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school.
- Full-time Design and Technology/Resistant Materials teacher.
- Required from September 2020 or earlier.
- Supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
- Paid to teaching scale point (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490).
- Secondary school based in Salford.
Due to a timetable restructure, our client school are looking for an additional passionate Design and Technology teacher.
Our client school in Salford has been noted for their welcoming staff community and culture over the last few years with strong support to provide staff with the most efficient teaching methods. The incoming Design and Technology teacher can expect to work within a modern and well-equipped DT supporting pupils aged 11-16 across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Both experienced and newly qualified DT Teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided.
The successful Design and Technology teacher will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver differentiated DT and Resistant Materials lessons to the meet the needs of individual learners at various levels of learning. The DT teacher will also be expected to take on a full teaching timetable alongside planning and marking responsibilities.
Our client school is located in Salford and is easily accessible via the M62 and A580from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Trafford and Swinton. The school can also be accessed from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester via public transport links.
