We are seeking a number of part-time and day-to-day Teaching Assistants to work at our partner schools in and around the Blackburn area.
This is an excellent opportunity for students seeking work for the upcoming academic year. We can offer flexible working hours and a diary which you can update weekly, meaning you choose when you work – fit your hours around university and other commitments.
Role & responsibilities
We work with a number of Primary schools in and around the Accrington area providing education support for children. Your day-to-day duties will involve assisting with work and activities, supporting students’ wellbeing and development, and helping the class teacher and other support staff to cultivate a supportive, friendly atmosphere for children. You will be carrying out intervention with small groups of children lead by the class teacher.
Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Blackburn (BB1)
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday (flexible hours and days for you.)
Contract: Part Time, Temporary
Pay rate: £12.82 - £13 per hour
Start Date: April 2024 start.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
