Day to Day SEN Teaching Assistant Work in Southwark

Are you available for, or actively looking for, part time/day to day supply TA work?

Can you travel to Southwark for work?

I am currently supplying SEN staff to a beautiful secondary special needs school in Peckham, Southwark. Graded as outstanding by Ofsted, this school provides the very best support for students aged 11-18 with severe learning difficulties including autism, Down syndrome and physical disabilities.

They have a large demand for day to day supply staff - you would be covering for sickness, training courses, trips, medical appointments and other various planned and unplanned absences.

  • Working hours are 9am - 4pm (students are in 09:30am - 15:30pm)
  • You must be confident working with special needs
  • Take part in numeracy, communication, sensory development, physical education, art and drama sessions
  • Use PECs and Makaton with non-verbal students
  • Have access to CPD training courses through Teaching Personnel
  • Pay As You Earn pay scheme - no umbrella company - we pay a national insurance and pension contribution for you!
