Job Title: Day to Day Cover Supervisor

Location: Guildford, Surrey

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time or Part-time, Flexible Wokring Hours!

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £100 - £160 Per day (Depending on Qualificationsor experience)

Job Duties:

  • Supervising and managing classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Implementing pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring a productive learning environment
  • Ensuring student behaviour and engagement are maintained at all times
  • Assisting with the distribution and collection of materials and resources
  • Reporting back on student progress and any issues to the relevant staff

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience in teaching or cover supervising
  • Experience Teaching Abroad or with another Education Agency

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a teaching or cover supervising role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of classroom management techniques

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and student behaviour
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in education or related field
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time OR Part-Time or Flexible Working Hours
  • Potential for additional responsibilities or duties as needed#
  • Working hours of 8:30am-3:30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
