Start Date: September 2026
Hours: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Contract: Term-Time Only

Are you a Creative Arts Graduate looking to make a real impact?

You may not have considered a career in education before, but some of the most successful Teaching Assistants we've worked with come from creative backgrounds.

Whether you've studied Fine Art, Theatre, Acting, Textiles, Creative Writing, Performance, Design, Dance, Music, Film, Photography, or a similar creative discipline, your ability to think differently, communicate ideas, and engage people could be exactly what young learners need.

This isn't an art teaching role. Instead, you'll use your creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to support students across a range of subjects, helping them build confidence and achieve their potential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting students in the classroom on a one-to-one and small-group basis
  • Helping to adapt learning activities to suit different learning styles
  • Encouraging engagement, participation, and confidence in lessons
  • Using creative approaches to explain concepts and solve challenges
  • Supporting students with additional learning needs where required
  • Working closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Acting as a positive role model for young people

Why Creative Graduates Excel in This Role

Creative Arts graduates often bring:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to think outside the box and find innovative solutions
  • Confidence in presenting ideas and engaging an audience
  • Patience, resilience, and adaptability
  • A natural ability to build relationships and inspire confidence
  • Experience working collaboratively while bringing fresh perspectives

Young people don't all learn in the same way. Your creative mindset can help unlock understanding, build engagement, and provide students with a different way of approaching challenges.

We're Looking For

  • A degree in a creative subject such as Fine Art, Theatre, Acting, Textiles, Performance, Design, Creative Writing, Music, Dance, Film, Photography, or similar
  • A genuine interest in supporting young people
  • Strong communication skills
  • A positive, proactive attitude
  • The ability to commit to a full-time, term-time role from September

Previous educational experience is welcomed but not essential.

What's On Offer?

  • Daily pay of £92–£105 per day
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday schedule
  • Term-time only working pattern
  • Valuable classroom experience
  • Ongoing training and support
  • An opportunity to make a lasting difference to young people's lives
  • Excellent experience for those considering careers in education, psychology, youth work, counselling, social work, or the creative industries

If you're a creative graduate looking for a meaningful role where your ideas, energy, and unique perspective can have a genuine impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply now to secure a September start.
