SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) 

Location: BS7, Bristol
Start Date: September
Hours: Full Time (Monday–Friday), Term Time Only

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in the BS7 area of Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils both academically and socially, helping them to reach their full potential in a positive learning environment.

The Role

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
  • Assist the teacher in delivering engaging lessons
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN
  • Encourage confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
  • Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing within the classroom

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • A positive, patient, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Previous school or SEN experience is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
