I am recruiting Cover Teachers (Cover Supervisors) to be able to work on a flexible, ad-hoc basis in Secondary Schools during this academic year.

Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor (Cover Teacher) or are you a graduate interested in training as a teacher? Would you like the experience to work on a flexible basis at our client Secondary Schools? Please keep reading.

In the role of a Cover Teacher (Cover Supervisor), you will be expected to supervise the lesson in the absence of the classroom teacher. Although you don't have to be a qualified teacher to be able to do this type of work, we are accepting applications from qualified teachers, experienced cover supervisors, or graduates who are looking at gaining experience in the classroom. The minimum requirement is that you hold a University Degree. Alternatively, you can hold GCSEs or equivalent with some experience of working with young people.

We are looking for Cover Supervisors (Cover Teachers) with an outgoing personality, who can think on their feet and are not afraid of being in charge of a group of young people.

Teaching Personnel can provide free training and an induction prior to commencing the role. We offer weekly pay on PAYE, and competitive rates of pay of up to GBP130 per day (depending on experience and qualifications).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
