Cover Supervisor

DO YOU HAVE A PASSION FOR EDUCATION BUT STUCK ON WHICH ROLE SUITS YOU?.. LOOK NO FURTHER!

Qualifications:

  • Enhanced DBS on update service (essential)
  • A minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Previous experience working in a secondary school (preferred)

Skills:

  • Ability to follow prepared lessons plans and deliver engaging content
  • Excellent classroom presence and behaviour management techniques
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to raise concerns in a timely manner
  • Commitment to safeguarding and uphold values of school at all times
  • Adopt a flexible approach in the classroom and adapt lessons where required

Job Duties:

The Cover Supervisor will be responsible for covering classes in the absence of the regular teacher. This includes following prepared lesson plans, maintaining classroom discipline, and ensuring a positive learning environment for students.

 

Being a cover supervisor offers you flexibility, the opportunity to gain experience in a range of classes and subject specialisms without the pressure of planning lessons or tracking progress!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
