Cover Supervisors needs for Secondary School in LS16

Do you enjoy helping children? Would you enjoy flexibility in your work? Do you have the ability to connect and build relationships with young people? Have you got a passion for leading? Are you located in or around the LS16 postcode area?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then you already have the skills needed to be a Cover Supervisor. Spending time as a Cover Supervisor is the first step on the pathway to becoming a qualified teacher. Teaching Personnel are the market leading Education recruitment agency and have been providing supply staff to schools across the UK since 1996. We offer great rates of pay and a specialised consultant to help you secure Cover Supervisor roles.

We are looking for Cover Supervisors who:

  • Have worked in UK secondary schools previously
  • Can adapt to new situations quickly & have the ability to think on your feet
  • Have an upbeat and positive attitude towards the education of young people
  • Can hold QTS, but not necessary
  • Have a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service

The priority of my client is to ensure every student achieves the very best they can. To achieve this goal they work hard to ensure that teaching is outstanding and all students are set challenging academic targets, As a result of good and sometimes outstanding teaching students make good progress across a range of subjects. This inspirational approach has led to significant improvements in terms of whole school student achievement. Exam results have been consistently strong in recent years at both GCSE and A Level.

Located with easy accessibility to the motorway, our partner school is also accessible by public transport. The school have expressed that the appointed Cover Supervisor has previous experience of working with students aged 11 - 16 who display challenging behaviour.

You will also have the opportunity to further develop your skill set, such as teaching techniques and classroom management working with in our CPD academy.
