If you are an experienced Cover Supervisor or a graduate who is looking to gain classroom experience this academic year prior to a teacher training course then we encourage you to apply.

Our client secondary school wish to appoint two Cover Supervisors for this position in preparation of the busier times of the year, ensuring that they have enough in house cover within the school to alleviate the classroom pressures from the teacher and to cover sickness and absence.

With the nature of this role you must have a positive and enthusiastic approach in order to build good working relationships with the students that you are working with. It is crucial that you are confident when delivering pre-set lessons to a class of students and able to maintain good control of the classroom.

In the schools most recent Ofsted report, the school's Senior Leadership team were commended for their commitment to continually raise standards. It also highlighted that the students are supportive of each other which cultures a harmonious learning environment.

The school is situated on the outskirts of Wigan town centre making it easily accessible via car or public transport from the surrounding areas.
