Location: Secondary Schools across Bolton, Wigan and Warrington - depending on preference!
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Teaching Personnel are looking for motivated and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team, supporting secondary schools in Bolton, Wigan and Warrington

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, delivering set lessons and ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
• Manage student behaviour in line with school policies, creating a positive and safe learning environment.
• Provide support to teachers and other school staff, assisting with planning and preparation where required.
• Work flexibly across a range of subjects, gaining insight into different areas of the curriculum.
• Foster strong relationships with students, motivating and encouraging them to achieve their best.

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or youth-focused setting.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to making a difference.
• A degree is desirable but not essential – we welcome applications from candidates with varied backgrounds and experience levels.
• Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)
