Teaching Personnel are working alongside a number of Secondary Schools in Bolton aiding them in recruiting new Cover Supervisors and Teaching Assistants for September 2019.

• Full time and part time roles available to suit your availability from September 2019 until the end of the academic year
• Supporting the learning of pupils across all subject areas
• Work alongside class teachers to provide additional support for pupils wit low attainment
• Supporting students across the curriculum and ability range
• Delivering pre-set work and leading classes in the absence of teachers
• Attractive rates of pay (Up to £300 per week dependent on experience)
• Gain invaluable experience towards teaching training applications
• Must have transferable experience to work within secondary education

A cover supervisor or teaching assistant position is the ideal opportunity to gain the necessary skills and experience for those considering applying to teacher training courses or for those looking for some experience alongside a current course. Applicants will ideally have previous experience working within education.

Within these roles the successful applicants will hold a number of responsibilities including;

• Covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teachers
• Managing behaviour and ensuring tasks are completed by pupils
• Assisting class teachers in raising the overall attainment of pupils
• Working alongside senior teachers to improve attainment across a range of abilities
• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups who require additional support in specific subjects
• Covering a range of classes in different subject areas with a range of pupils varying in ages (11-16) and ability.

Our client schools are located in Bolton with access from surrounding areas such as Wigan, Bury and central Manchester via the M61, M60 and A58. For non-drivers, the schools can be accessed by a number of public transport links from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester such as Wigan and Bury.
