Cover supervisor Teacher

Experienced Cover Supervisor Required- Leeds

• Daily pay rates of between £65-80 (depending on experience)

An average sized Secondary School close to central Leeds are seeking to appoint an experienced Cover Supervisor to start from October 2016.

The role involves supervising full classes and delivering work (which has already been planned and set by the department) in a range of subjects, managing behavior and gaining the respect of students. You will interact with a range of staff from different departments so flexibility and strong communication skills is essential.

The school are looking for someone with prior Secondary School experience, either as a Cover Supervisor or someone who has previously worked as a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Mentor who is looking for a new challenge.

Daily pay rates are up to £80 per day (depending on experience levels) and payroll runs weekly. Teaching Personnel also offer a Guaranteed Work Scheme which ensures you receive regular work each week. You will have access to a range of CPD training courses through a range of organisations including Leeds Trinity University which will develop your skills further and boost any future teacher training applications.

You must have at least GCSE grade 'C' in both Maths and English, higher qualifications (A Levels/Degrees) are preferred but not essential. You must be an excellent communicator, have good behaviour management skills and the ability to build up rapport quickly with the pupils you are supervising.
