Cover Supervisor Supply

Cover supervisors needed for Boston/South Lincolnshire Secondary Schools to support their current staff absences and internal course cover. Our partner schools are looking for local and reliable cover supervisors to deliver set work and ensure students are remaining on task and completing set work.

If you are a graduate looking to gain school based experience before starting a teacher training programme or are currently working in a coaching, youth work background you will be provided with first hand experience in the role of a teacher. Cover supervisors work alone in the classroom delivering pre set lessons planned by the absent teacher, ensuring students remain on task and complete the set work through effective behaviour management.

In addition to Boston Teaching Personnel support schools in Bourne, Spalding, Sleaford, Skegness, Grantham and Lincoln. You will be offered the opportunity to undertake regular CPD and training courses, supporting your CV and career prospects. The role of a cover supervisor is flexible on a part time and full time basis dependant on your availability and current situation.

To work as a cover supervisor you will need to provide references, eligibility for a fully enhanced DBS certificate, previous experience of working in an education or youth work setting would be desirable but not essential.
