About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a proactive and adaptable Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in the SE3 postcode area (Greenwich). As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences.

  • Deliver pre-set work and manage classroom behaviour.

  • Support students with their learning and maintain a positive environment.

  • Follow school policies and procedures.

  • Assist with administrative tasks if required.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Confident in managing classroom behaviour.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Flexible and adaptable to different school environments.

  • Previous experience in education (teaching, tutoring, TA work) is desirable but not essential.

  • A degree or relevant qualification is beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
