Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a number of Cover Supervisors in the Stockport area to support our local client schools.

  • Full time and part time roles available from September 2019
  • Access to your own online availability diary
  • £275 - £350 per week
  • Introduction a number of local secondary schools in Stockport for regular flexible work

Cover Supervisors will work between 1-5 days per week depending on your availability and will provide support in the short term absence of teachers. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be delivering pre-set work to classes of between 20-30 students teaching across a range of subjects, age groups and abilities.

Cover Supervisors will be responsible for managing classroom behaviour in line with the schools behaviour policy and will ensure that student stay on task whilst in lesson. Work will then be collected at the end of each lesson and returned to the teachers with appropriate feedback.

Whilst no teaching qualifications are required for this role, previous experience of working with students aged 11-16 is essential. Experience of working in a UK secondary school is desirable however we welcome applications from those with transferable experience. (Tutoring, Youth Work, Sport Coaching etc.)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
