A large vibrant secondary school in South Manchester are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join the schools support team from March 2020. This role is suited to any professional, flexible candidates looking to secure a long term position.

Highlights of this Cover Supervisor position;

  • Full time position supporting young people in the learning
  • Commencing March and running until the end of the academic year in the first instance
  • Modern secondary academy with excellent facilities located in South Manchester, accessible from the M60 motorway
  • Salary: GBP1300 - GBP1400 per month

This Cover Supervisor role involves covering whole classes in the short term absence of teachers across years 7 – 11. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for managing classroom behaviour, responding to any questions and queries and ensuring all students complete the set work to the highest standard. Planning and preparation of lessons is not required as all work will be pre-set by the absent teachers.

Suitable candidates will have a flexible attitude towards work and will be passionate about supporting young people in their learning. They will be able to act as a positive role model and will be able to create and maintain positive professional relationships with students.
