Rate: GBP70 - GBP120 per day

Looking for flexible work starting in October 2020/ASAP as a cover supervisor at a secondary school in the Lambeth, South East London area?

Teaching personnel are working closely with several client schools in Lambeth, South East London who are seeking support and assistance. We are in search for a day to day cover supervisor looking to start ASAP to help the teaching staff and support the educational development of children in secondary schools. 

Cover supervisor role in Lambeth, South East London starting October 2020/ASAP

As a cover supervisor you will need to have passion, flexibility, and confidence – these characteristics are key to a successful cover supervisor in the educational sector.

The role will include supervising classes of pupils in KS3/KS4 during a teacher absence. Due to the current climate with COVID, teacher absences can occur at any moment, so we are looking for someone reliable and confident of taking on responsibility when called upon.

You will be required to answer questions, organising activities for pupils and maintain order in the classroom. More often then not, cover work will be set prior to arrival at the school.

Cover supervisors are highly regarded/valuable especially now in 2020 with teachers going into self-isolation.

This position would be ideal for a graduate with strong academic background and a passion for working with children/pupils in KS3/KS4 or someone with previous experience working in a secondary school.

Essential qualities:

  • Strong verbal and written skills – able to communicate effectively with a range of people from mixed/various backgrounds
  • Resilient, driven and possess a great stamina/determination to cope with all demands from the school
  • Flexible, positive and shows initiative in a changing environment
  • Desire and ability to improve own performance and professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
