Job description

Teaching personnel requires a dynamic, motivated, pro-active and well-organised individual who has the ability and skills to successfully deliver dynamic lessons to a diverse range of students.We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to supervise whole class lessons during the short term absence of teaching staff. The Cover Supervisor will deliver prepared lessons, ensuring that pupils are on task and that the ethos of high expectations is maintained. This role would equally suit a graduate wishing to pursue a career in teaching or an individual experienced in working with and inspiring children of secondary school age. We are working with some fantastic schools and have a large amount of supply roles available locally with many schools requiring daily supply roles.

Successful Cover Supervisor…

  • Degree (2:2 minimum)
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A passion for teaching across KS3/KS4
  • Highly organised and be able to think on your feet due to the nature of a supply role.
  • Experience working in a secondary school setting
  • DBS on the update service is desirable but not essential
  • Enthusiastic, eager and hardworking ethos
  • The ability to inspire and engage young people
