This opportunity is ideal for any graduates who are considering a career in teaching as it will provide invaluable experience to a teacher training application.
- Cover supervisor work available (Full-time and part-time).
- Immediate work available within a secondary school in Bury.
- ‘Become a cover supervisor’ training course available free of charge.
- Obtain a year’s worth of experience before doing a PGCE.
- Earn up to GBP1400 per month!
The incoming cover supervisor will be expected to cover pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher across different subject areas. All work will be set – you simply need to supervise the lessons, ensure the pupils complete the tasks provided and manage behaviour in line with the school policies.
Applicants will ideally have previous experience working within education however, any transferrable skills to work with children and young people will be considered. You do not need a teaching qualification.
Our partner school is located in Bury and can be easily accessed via the M60 and A580 from surrounding areas such as Bolton and Rochdale. For applicants who do not drive, the school also has excellent links to public transport from neighbouring areas of Bury such as Whitefield and Prestwich.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
