Good and Outstanding secondary schools are looking for people who want flexible, paid work to support them in the event of a teacher absence.

  • Cover Supervisor
  • Congleton
  • Up to GBP1630 per month
  • September start

Schools in and around Congleton are looking for people to support them once by standing in for their regular teachers when they are not available. You would be provided with classwork to deliver to groups of up to 30 pupils, in place of their regular teacher. This is an ideal role for recent graduates who are considering a career in teaching or who want to gain some classroom experience to enhance a teacher training application. It is also very well suited to anyone who wants flexible work to fit around other commitments.

The ideal candidates will display high levels of professionalism, they will be able to adapt to each different day, and they will be approachable with a good sense of humour. The role of a Cover Supervisor is an essential one and one that is very rewarding in several ways.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
