Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an exceptional and dedicated individual to join our team as a Supply Teacher, to work across a range of Secondary Schools in the Stockport and Cheadle Area. This position offers the unique opportunity to make a positive impact on students’ lives across various secondary schools in Stockport and Cheadle.
Key information:
- You will earn a competitive salary between £130 and £160 per day.
- You will work on a flexible basis, being able to manage your own availability and work on your preferred days, allowing you to better manage your other commitments such as childcare.
- You will work at a range of secondary schools in the local area, including areas such as Cheadle, Wilmslow, Hazel Grove, Cheadle Hulme, Wythenshawe, and Bramhall.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering preplanned lessons in the absence of regular teachers.
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe learning environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues to maintain accurate records of student progress.
Adapting teaching methods to cater to diverse student needs.
Engaging students in learning activities that promote academic growth and personal development.
Requirements: Applicants must hold a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS, along with experience working within a secondary school setting. A strong command of subject knowledge is essential, particularly in one or more of the following areas: English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, or Modern Foreign Languages. Candidates should also possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively under pressure, and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changing work schedules. A valid DBS check is required for this position.
