Cover Supervisor

A school in Salford is looking for a Cover Supervisor to join the staff on a temporary basis. This position will focus on the cover of lessons across a variety of subjects. It is essential that the applicant is able to meet the following requirements:

• Cover lessons for staff who are absent.
• Ensure that students are aware of expectations, both with regards to completion of work as well as set behaviour policies.

It is imperative that the required applicant is able to:

• Monitor student behaviour, and ensure that students are consistently behaving in a respectable manner
• Ensuring that students are suitably catered for within the classroom , based on their individual needs.
• Ensuring students consistently adhere to school policy, including specific Covid-19 and Behaviour Policy.
• Making sure that students with SEN are able to access the learning process, and that any pastoral issues are dealt with effectively.

It is expected that the required applicant will be able to monitor day to day factors including attendance on SIMS.

• Located in Salford, the school is a short distance from Manchester city centre.

There are several public transport links within close distance of the school site.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
