Are you looking for a career in education? Are you interested in working within a secondary school supporting young people to learn and succeed? Teaching Personnel require a number of cover supervisors to work within our client schools in Wigan.

As a cover supervisor you will support with the delivery of lessons when the main class teacher is absent. You will cover a range of all subjects in school and have the opportunity to teach both KS3+4 and gain lots of experience in the classroom. All work is pre-set and left by the teacher so no subject knowledge is required as you will follow the guide left for you. The role is focused on classroom management and ensuring all pupils continue to learn the best they can.

  • Teach in various secondary schools in Wigan
  • No experience needed – training provided

As a Cover Supervisor you will:

  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour
  • Deliver the pre-set work
  • Liaise with teachers and senior leaders
  • Develop positive relationships with students
  • Be flexible and reliable
