Pay: £85 - £100 a day

Role Overview: As a Cover Supervisor at the secondary school in Fareham, you will play a vital role in maintaining a supportive and productive learning environment. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task. Your dedication will directly impact the continuity of learning and contribute to the overall success of the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans and classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide support and guidance to students as needed, addressing questions and concerns.
- Always ensure the safeguarding and well-being of students.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to maintain consistency in students' educational experiences.
- Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Prior experience working within a UK secondary school environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate young minds.
- Ability to adapt to various subjects and year groups.
