Role: Cover supervisor.

Area: Tameside.

Wage:

  • £350 - £450 per week (dependant on experience).
  • Paid weekly through PAYE.
  • Rate quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre planned lessons with no marking or planning required.
  • Help guide students through their learning and schoolwork.
  • Maintain a good standard of behaviour management.
  • Keep students remain focused and driven in the classroom.
  • Build a positive rapport with the students.

Requirements:

  • Have an up-to-date full child work force DBS certificate. (One can be obtained through Teaching Personnel)
  • Provide 2 work based refences dating back 2 years.
  • Completion of our online safeguarding course.
  • Remain punctual and have excellent communication skills throughout the process.

This is an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant to work in an Ofsted graded ‘outstanding’ school and have the chance to develop their teaching career. The role will be a temporary position to start with which allows for flexible working days to suit your lifestyle and preferences. Permanent roles do become available, dependant on your time spent within the school, meaning no matter what your availability is, we can find you the right match.

It would be ideal for the school if the applicant had experience in a similar school setting, however it’s not completely essential as any transferable skills could prove to be a valuable asset for the school. For example, any individual whose had experience within behaviour management, having to communicate effectively and sees themself as a confident person, could potentially be the perfect match.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
