Cover Supervisor Stockport

Are you looking for a Teaching role without the immediate pressure of having to mark and plan for the lessons?

Do you want to develop your career in a school environment, but don’t have your QTS or an equivalent degree?

Are you in the Stockport area and wanting to chance to work in some excellent schools with the flexibility to suit your everyday needs?

A number of different schools within the Stockport area are looking to appoint a cover supervisor to cover a range of different subjects through year 7 – 11.

The position in hand will consist of:

  • Delivering pre planned lessons to students in a secondary school setting.
  • Guiding students through their class work and providing additional support where required.
  • Maintaining a calm and effective learning environment for the children.
  • Ensuring behaviour is kept to a suitable level throughout the day.

As stated, working through Teaching Personnel, you’ll have the chance to book in and block out days that suit your preference and show availability for the days you are free to work. It can also be a brilliant opportunity to build your teaching skills in a nurturing and supportive school, along with the chance to complete free CPD and training courses.

The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to receive:

  • £350 - £450 per week, dependant on experience.
  • Choice of fantastic schools in an area that works effectively with your travel situation, whether you’re on public transport, walking or driving.
  • Bonus referral scheme if you know someone better suited to the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
