Cover Supervisor (KS3 & KS4)


Location: Stockbridge, Hampshire
Start Date: Immediate

 

A brand-new Secondary School in Stockbridge is seeking a committed Cover Supervisor to support students in their daily learning. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to build classroom experience or explore a future teaching career.

 

The Role

You will supervise classes of students aged 11–16 in the absence of their teacher, delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and ensuring pupils remain focused and engaged. A key part of the job is promoting positive behaviour in line with school expectations to maintain a calm and productive learning atmosphere. You may also work with students with special educational needs (SEN), helping them access the curriculum and succeed.

 

Although the school is newly opened and awaiting its first Ofsted inspection, it already offers:

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience with secondary-aged pupils and SEN is ideal
  • Confident, adaptable, and comfortable managing classrooms
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build positive rapport with students
  • Genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people

 

Working Hours / Benefits

Flexible full-time or part-time roles available with an immediate start. Competitive daily rates between £95–£130. Weekdays only, term-time only, with holiday pay included.
