Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools | Bolton & Salford

Are you confident, professional, and passionate about supporting young people in education?

We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of secondary schools across Bolton and Salford. Whether you are looking for flexible day-to-day supply work or a longer-term opportunity, this role offers excellent classroom experience and the chance to make a real impact.

This is an ideal position for aspiring teachers, graduates, experienced Cover Supervisors, or individuals with strong transferable skills who can confidently manage a classroom environment.

The Role

  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Ensure students remain on task and engaged throughout lessons.
  • Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
  • Support the wider school community with professionalism and enthusiasm.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong behaviour management skills and confidence leading a classroom.
  • A professional, reliable, and adaptable approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
