Job description

There is a growing demand for Cover Supervisors across secondary schools in Rochdale, and we're keen to hear from people who enjoy working with young people and want a rewarding role within education.

You'll be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students complete the work provided and maintaining a calm and productive learning environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches or anyone with experience supporting young people. Many people use Cover Supervisor roles as a stepping stone into teaching, while others enjoy the variety and flexibility the role offers.

The schools we support are looking for confident individuals who can communicate well, build positive relationships with students and remain calm under pressure.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
