Job description

A secondary school in Oldham is looking for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team.

This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers, teaching assistants, or anyone with experience working with young people.

You will supervise classes during teacher absence, deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged with their learning. No planning or marking is required.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be confident leading a classroom
  • Have experience working with young people
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Be adaptable, professional, and reliable
  • Be passionate about supporting students
