Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Northamptonshire (Various Schools)
Pay: £90 - £150pd

Teaching Personnel are a leading education recruitment agency committed to providing high-quality teaching staff to schools across Northamptonshire. We are currently looking to recruit dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across the region.
Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the classroom environment by supervising students and ensuring that lesson plans are followed in the absence of the regular teacher. You will be responsible for managing the classroom, ensuring students remain on task, and maintaining a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise students during lessons in the absence of their usual teacher.

Follow lesson plans provided by the teacher, ensuring students complete their work.

Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

Support students with their learning where appropriate, ensuring that all students have equal opportunities to succeed.

Communicate effectively with teaching staff and school leadership to ensure continuity of learning.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
