Job description

Teaching Personnel is working with a newly partnered specialist training centre in Leigh, supporting pupils aged 13–21 with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, and we are currently recruiting for a full-time Cover Supervisor to join the team.

Role Details:

  • Full-time only – Monday to Friday, 08:30–15:30

  • Long-term opportunity with potential for temp-to-perm

  • Pupils are described as lovely and engaging, with strong staff support

  • No planning required – all lesson materials are provided

You’ll be supervising pre-planned sessions across a range of topics such as life skills, personal development, and PSHE-style content. A calm and confident approach is essential to ensure consistency and engagement in the classroom.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working in an educational or youth support setting

  • Confident with classroom management and engaging students

  • Passionate about supporting learners with SEMH needs

  • Child and adult enhanced DBS on the Update Service – or willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
