If you have experience working with young people—whether in education, coaching, or youth work—and are looking for flexible work in secondary schools, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

This role offers full flexibility over your schedule, with options to work from 1 to 5 days per week, depending on your availability.

Benefits of registering with Teaching Personnel:

  • Competitive daily pay rates (dependent on experience and qualifications)
  • No planning or marking – your role is to supervise and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Regular supply work to suit your circumstances
  • Opportunity to work in a variety of schools across Tameside and Glossop
  • Access to CPD opportunities
  • Opportunities for ECTs or graduates to get experience working in schools

Teaching Personnel’s Manchester Secondary branch works with over 85% of secondary schools in Greater Manchester, including those in SK13 and SK14. To be considered, you’ll need:

  • Experience working with young people (school-based or similar)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Confident demeanour
  • Ideally your own transport, or ability to commute to schools in these areas

Whether you’re looking for full-time supply work or ad-hoc cover when you’re available, apply today! Demand for day-to-day cover has increased significantly, so now is the perfect time to register.

Apply now by submitting your CV, highlighting any relevant qualifications and experience.
