Position Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the learning process during teacher absences. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and engage students in pre-planned lessons across various subjects. This position offers a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth while making a significant impact on students' education and overall development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and materials to students, fostering active engagement and learning.
- Maintain classroom discipline and handle any behavioral issues in accordance with school policies.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and academic excellence.
- Support and assist students with their learning needs, providing individual attention when required.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and school administrators to ensure effective communication and continuity in the learning process.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Resilient and willing to get stuck in!
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and colleagues effectively.
- Adaptability and flexibility to handle different subject areas and classroom environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
