Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity at our amazing school in Grantham, Lincolnshire for a passionate individual to bring enthusiasm into the classroom to support secondary school students and oversee classes during short-term absense of the regular class teacher. Duties include suupervising students ensuring students stay engaged and on task, managing classroom behaviour and delivering pre-prepared work left by the teacher.

Location: East Midlands, Lincolnshire, Grantham

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Secondary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £85 - £100 Per day

 

Required Qualifications:

- A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics

- Experience working with children or young people

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

A Level qualification or equivalent is desirable

Experience:

Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting is advantageous

Knowledge and Skills:

- Understanding of classroom management techniques

- Ability to follow lesson plans and instructions effectively

- Good organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Teaching Assistant qualification

- First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

- Work is primarily indoors within a school setting

- May involve occasional interaction with challenging behaviour from students

- Full-time hours with potential for variation based on school requirements

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
