Cover Supervisor

About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team and support secondary schools in Farnborough. Starting in September 2024, these roles offer flexibility with both full-time and part-time opportunities available, depending on your availability.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across the age and attainment range at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Your main duties will include maintaining classroom management, ensuring a positive learning environment, and supporting students in their educational journey. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom, making it an ideal role for graduates, unqualified teachers, and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) looking to further their careers in education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Maintain classroom management and ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
• Supervise students and provide support to their educational development.
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
• Assist with other classroom and school duties as required.

Requirements:

• UK residency (this advert is only open to UK residents).
• A passion for working with young people and supporting their education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
• Flexibility to work across different subjects and year groups.
• Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
